When Carol, a professional photographer, discovers Kimble's identity, she and Mr. Guthrie embark on a plan to kill Mrs. Guthrie and blame it on Kimble, who already has a history of murdering women. Kimble must uncover and defeat the murderous plot before he can make his escape.
After saving a busload of kids in an accident, Kimble is knocked unconscious and later identified as a fugitive. Gerard comes to this Massachusetts town to extradite him back to Indiana, much to the dismay of the town's grateful residents.
