Marvel's Daredevil may have kicked things off in style with "Into the Ring," but it's the show's second episode, "Cut Man," that really knocked it out of the park.
After Rosario Dawson's off-duty ER nurse, Claire, found a fully-costumed Matt dying in a dumpster, the show treated us to a series of a great flashbacks detailing the final, tragic days of Matt's dad - journeyman boxer "Battling Jack" Murdock (tender hooligan John Patrick Hayden). With the entire episode leading up to a freakin' awesome, triumphant fight sequence in a hallway as a severely wounded Matt battled to rescue a young boy from Russian goons.
Daredevil gave us a hell of an episode with "Cut Man." Rosario Dawson's Night Nurse was introduced, patching Matt up so he could head back out and finish the dangerous mission he started.
