My Master, the Great Rembrandt is the twenty-sixth episode of Season 1 of I Dream of Jeannie. Written by Sidney Sheldon and directed by Claudio Guzmán, it first aired 19 March 1966 on NBC.
Jeannie helps Tony copy a Rembrandt so well that he's accused of forgery. The picture's not pretty when Jeannie transforms Tony's donated copy of a Rembrandt painting into the original, highly valuable self-portrait. When the NASA charity and Dr. Bellows call for assistance from an art expert, Tony has only 24 hours to create an explanation.
Dr. Bellows tells Tony he must have painted the picture himself or stolen the original from the Louvre. In either case, he's guilty of grand larceny. Tony and Roger surmise Jeannie must be responsible. Tony learns that Dr. Bellows, eager to pin something on him, is bringing Pierre Millay, the world's greatest authority on painting, from Paris.
The astronauts paint pictures to be auctioned off at a charity event. Tony copies a Rembrandt masterpiece, which is secretly perfected by Jeannie. When experts consider the picture to be a real Rembrandt, Tony is suspected of stealing it from the museum.
