Elyse tries to help her friend Suzanne through a rough patch by hiring her on as her assistant, but comes to regret it when Suzanne forgets her place and takes over Elyse's business.
Steven and Elyse return from a wedding with Ron and Suzanne Davis. Suzanne confesses to Elyse trouble in her marriage and loneliness after the kids went to college. Elyse offers her a job doing clerical work. Suzanne begins to take over Elyse's business rather than just doing her office work, making Elyse's job much more difficult.
