Synopsis. After having a nervous breakdown, former ballerina Elsa Spann gives up her career to live in a trailer park with her husband Carl. One evening, he returns home and finds everything in disarray. Elsa tells him she was attacked by a man who almost killed her. Instead of going to the police, a vengeful Carl decides to get his own justice.

The first entry in the Alfred Hitchcock series (1955), "Revenge" sets the pattern for most of what followed. A young married couple (Ralph Meeker and Vera Miles), newly residing in a West Coast seaside trailer-park, start their day as usual.
Revenge. A young married couple, Mr. & Mrs. Spann move to a trailer park on the Californian coast after Mrs. Spann suffers a breakdown. Carl (Ralph Meeker) wakes up early one morning and makes breakfast for himself and Elsa (the beautiful Vera Miles).

May 13, 2012 · It seems fitting, then, that Hitchcock himself would direct Revenge, the opening story of the series, working from a script by Francis M. Cockrell, adapted from a story by Samuel Blas. Somewhat disingenuously, our host promises “a sweet little story”, although Revenge is a bit more cynical.
