  6. Paul was asked by producers Harry Saltzman and Albert R. Broccoli to write the theme tune for the new James Bond film, 'Live and Let Die'. The song was recorded at George Martin's AIR Studios during a break in the Abbey Road sessions for Red Rose Speedway, and was nominated for Best Original Song at the 1974 Oscars along with two nominations the same year at the GRAMMYs.
