Cool, Quiet, Secluded Back To Nature Camping with Rushing Stream and Trout Fishing. Beautiful setting just off the Blue Ridge Parkway in the Great Smoky Mountains. FHU RV sites, Tent sites and Cabins. Camp Store, Heated Bathhouse, Fire Rings, Cable TV, and WiFi.
May 11, 2023 · The campground is great! There is a very clean bath house with showers, toilets, washing machines, and dryers. All the sites are absolutely amazing. There is a spot where you can get in the creek and take pictures, a pond, and a beautiful trail leading to a bridge over the creek.
Moonshine creek is a nice campground with something for everyone. Minutes from the parkway for hiking, 2 miles away from a creek on the WNC fly fishing trail, and plenty of space to get out and walk around the grounds.
