Sep 5, 2022 · You need 15 lifeblood masks to open it. Get all the mask shards, put on Joni's Blessing, Fragile Heart and Lifeblood Heart and you should be good to go. Alternatively, you can collect some lifeblood from cocoons (the ones in Deepnest give 3) and dreamgate to the Abyss. Reply reply.
The Abyss features a massive chasm filled with the shells of Vessels born in the area and rejected. The Abyss is the source of the Void, a substance at the very bottom of the area. According to in-game lore, an ancient civilization revered the Void from or near the Abyss.

If you want the Lifeblood Core charm make sure you stop at the Bench above the Abyss and use the Lifeblood Heart and Joni’s Blessing to get 15 Lifeblood Hearts.
Jun 29, 2020 · I think that the abyss creature is an representative of lifeblood and is actively searching for followers of lifeblood (similar to joni). The abyss creature operates in the dream realm and uses the beacons of higher beings, like the godseeker, to seek out kingdoms.
