It's a new design on an existing process (tick) followed by that design on a new process (tock.) Skylake is the tick (uses a new design, but the same 14nm process as Broadwell) while Skymont is the tock (Skylake core shrunk to 10nm.) Feb 11, 2016 · Actually @MariusMatutiae brings up a point (in a wrong way). Arch is built for i686: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/P6_%28microarchitecture%29, which means Pentium Pro or later. If you got some Pentium MMX (i586) or even older machine, it might not work properly. –
