Talal Derki (Arabic: طلال ديركي Ṭālāl Dīrkī) is a Syrian Kurdish director, producer and screenwriter. Born in Damascus and of Kurdish descent, Derki studied film directing in Athens at Stavrako High Institute of Cinematographic Art and Television [ el ] , graduation in 2003.
