Nicole Kassell (born 1972) is an American filmmaker. She made her film debut with the drama film The Woodsman (2004), for which she was nominated for the Grand Jury Prize at the 2004 Sundance Film Festival. Kassell has also worked on television shows such as Vinyl, The Leftovers and Watchmen .

May 12, 2016 · Writer and director Nicole Kassell’s new feature PRODIGAL SUMMER is a film adaptation of best-selling author Barbara Kingsolver’s novel Prodigal Summer. The film was awarded a Lab Fellowship from the Sloan Foundation in partnership with the Sundance Institute in 2013. It is now in the financing stage.
