Dec 27, 2023 · Depends how you count the Earls of Arundel. There are several different ways, as for a number of earldoms etc. Wikipedia admits this. The general policy on WikiTree is to follow Cokayne, who numbers Richard as 10th Earl, or 3rd by another method of counting (this is because there was a possible break in the continuity of the earldom, so on one method of counting the numbering would restart).
