Manly is a beach-side suburb of northern Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. It is 17 kilometres (11 mi) north-east of the Sydney central business district and is currently one of the three administrative centres of the local government area of Northern Beaches Council.

- Catch a Ferry. If you’re in Manly, chances are you arrived there by ferry from Circular Quay. But if not, it’s worth doing a quick return ferry trip from the Manly wharf to the city and back.
It is very close to Circular Quay/center of the city (30 min with the iconic big Manly ferry and only 18 min with the fast ferry), relaxed and beautifully located (with not only the impressive Manly Beach but also a lot of smaller and more secluded beaches and amaaaazing scenic walks).
