   Is Asti a good place to visit?

   • Asti's second largest church is dedicated to Saint Secondo, supposedly decapitated by the Emperor Hadrian on this very spot. Very atmospheric with some fine frescoes. At the moment there's also a little display of all the flags from the recent Palio. Unfortunately the crypt was shut of when we visited, but that might also be worth a visit.
