   Why is Crosby Beach so special?

   • The addition of Antony Gormley's iron men almost 20 years ago was genius - it gave the beach that extra something. There's even a facebook group 'I'm at Crosby Beach and the weather is...' as it just lends itself to such amazing photos. When I come back to Crosby, I have to come here.... Great beach that goes on for miles.

   Jun 2020. Crosby beach is massive, the beach itself is about 2.5 miles long but the full coastal path extends to Southport and is over 20 Miles. During our recent visit we found the beach to be very clean and tidy, in fact, the beach has been awarded the Quality Coast Award by Keep Britain Tidy.
