Lancing is a large coastal village and civil parish in the Adur district of West Sussex, England, on the western edge of the Adur Valley. It occupies part of the narrow central section of the Sussex coastal plain between smaller Sompting to the west, larger Shoreham-by-Sea to the east, and the parish of Coombes to the north.

- lilliethebest. 1 contribution. great go karting expierience. it was my first time and me and my siblings went it was great we had no difficulties understanding what to do and if you crashed in the barriers they we so nice and gave you advice on how to not crash i will 100% go back again and the saturday morning when i went it was so quiet and not a lot of people.

Lancing, situated between the South Downs and the sea, has a long history dating back to the Stone Age. During the Bronze Age (1500 to 500BC) a sacred place was made near Lancing Ring and an incense cup and fragments of pottery from this spot are now in the British Museum.

Lancing Beach is a beautiful beach located in the town of Lancing, West Sussex. It is situated between Shoreham and Worthing, making it easily accessible from both towns. The beach is approximately 7 miles from Worthing and 5 miles from Shoreham.
