Kevin Cormier ★★½. Two people meet in a bar having met long before and strike up a curious friendship which gets complicated as they are both already in relationships to a varying degree. Well written, it doesn’t tread the usual tropes that are all too familiar, but almost goes out of its way to feel a bit more real.
While Emma's friends Cheri (Adelaide Kane) and Alana (Mouna Traoré) help her prioritize her own needs, Drew's friend Allan (Jonathan Keltz) provides him with some much needed perspective. Together, Drew and Emma wonder whether the love they know is better than the love that might be. Drama 2020 1 hr 41 min. 60%. PG-13.
