Biography. During May 1964, the Pleasure Seekers were formed by Patti Quatro in Detroit, Michigan. The original lineup included lead singers Suzi Quatro and Patti Quatro, with Nancy Ball on drums, Mary Lou Ball on guitar, and Diane Baker on piano. Leo Fenn, the husband of sister Arlene Quatro, was the band's manager.
Susan Kay Quatro [1] (born June 3, 1950) [2] is an American singer, bass guitarist, songwriter and actor. In the 1970s, she scored a string of singles that found success in Europe and Australia, with both "Can the Can" (1973) and "Devil Gate Drive" (1974) reaching No. 1 in several countries.
Arlene Quatro performed with her sisters in the Pleasure Seekers from 1966 to 1969, as they evolved into Cradle, in a much heavier direction. Having a family to raise, she retired from active touring when she left the Pleasure Seekers.
Fenn was born Sheryl Ann Fenn [2] on February 1, 1965, in Detroit, Michigan. She comes from a family of musicians: her mother is keyboard player Arlene Quatro, her aunt is award winning Hall-of-fame singer Suzi Quatro, and her grandfather, Art Quatro, was a jazz musician.
