Bobby Capps. The man pounding the boards! Having played throughout Florida's local club scene, Arkansas native Bobby Capps has found his home as keyboardist and vocalist for 38 Special. Since 1991, Bobby's contributions have helped round out the band's distinctive southern sound.

Bobby Capps first joined 38 Special as a touring keyboardist and backing vocalist in 1987, stepping in to fill the gap left by Barnes and others over the years. In 1992, he became a full-time member of the band. Capps has contributed to the band’s studio albums since the early ’90s, including “Resolution” and “Drivetrain.”
