    Sep 2019. We happily found this by accident while traveling East on the NY Thruway at mile marker 308.4. It is also accessible from NY route 31 on the West edge of Port Byron. A small museum staffed by very knowledgeable volunteers has an excellent model of the lock as it was in the mid 1800's.
