Jul 18, 2012 · While using the Tech 2, which VIN digit is used when asked for "product line". I usually end up just going through the letters until I find the one that fits. The 3rd digit of the VIN code is the product line identifier for all vehicles.

May 27, 2019 · If I'm not mistaken, 4wd codes are 'c xxx'. I can't get this thing to list any c codes. There is a screen that you can put in specific codes, but the tech2 will only scroll through p and u. Can anyone tell me what buttons to push, or where to find the chassis codes and have the thing list them?
