Nov 10, 2014 · By the age of 14, now a superb athlete, Hector had learned Karate, Tae Kwon Do and Kung Fu, and he became the youngest kickboxer to ever enter the ring professionally. Echavarria’s martial arts achievements are legion. He was inducted into the United States Martial Arts Hall of Fame in 2000.
By age 20 he was making action pictures, and for the last few years he’s been in Hollywood, working as an actor, a writer and a producer. One way or another, he’s got more than a dozen movies under his belt, from Cradle 2 Grave to Never Surrender, Hell’s Chain, and Death Warrior; about one a year or more since 2009.
