   Is high crimes still being made?

   • Sign in to vote. Recently obtained this 17yr. old film (2002 release) on DVD and had to give my review. First of all, movies like HIGH CRIMES are not being made any longer. Whatever is coming out of major studios is 90% garbage.

   • "High Crimes" is busy enough to hold interest through endless plotholes and implausibilities making for an okay no-brainer couch potato watch. A must see for Judd fans and a so-so watch for all others. (B-) 63 out of 88 found this helpful. Was this review helpful? Sign in to vote. Far better than what I was expecting.

   conclusion: For the first hour and 45 minutes, High Crimes is a bedeviling, well-acted, thinking man’s thriller. Then it chokes. The film’s unnecessary, illogical finale sells out to a cheap plot twist that renders everything else in the movie moot. I like a red herring now and then, but this is one huge fish story.
