Ladder 49 is a 2004 American disaster thriller film directed by Jay Russell and written by Lewis Colick. The film follows Baltimore firefighter Jack Morrison, who is trapped inside a warehouse fire, and his recollection of the events that got him to that point.
Jack Morrison: Usually I just throw them over my shoulder and carry them down a ladder. Linda Morrison : [smiles] Sort of a tarzan/jane thing? Lenny Richter : [during the traditional false-confession initiation] How about sex?
Since almost all of the firefighters are Catholics, they pretend to have a Catholic priest give him confession, and they nail him on his lax attitude about sex. Soon, in his flashbacks, he meets the girl of his dreams, Linda.
The Lord’s name was taken in vain at least twice, and there were references to breaking a cherry. As a joke, one character impersonates a Catholic priest and pretends to take another character’s “confession,” and while doing so asks if he thinks it’s funny “to fornicate with loose women.”.

We see a man sitting on a toilet (his bare thighs are seen). Two women wear low-cut tops that reveal cleavage. A man in confession is asked as to whether he has impure thoughts; a man who poses as the priest asks specific sexual questions.
