Classes are continually dumbed down to accommodate the lowest common denominator and when students still underperform, teachers are pressured to adjust grades to usher the students on to the next course.”
May 22, 2024 · LA film school is a huge scam. I’m a senior and barely know anything. Everything course is poorly put together and I’m no where near the skill level I should be at.

I looked at and even toured NYFA several years ago after high school looking for a prospective school. I dropped the notion immediately when a film mentor of mine who had taught there a long time ago warned me how much of a scam the place was. This was 10 years ago though so maybe things have changed.
