The State Crown of Mary of Modena is the consort crown made in 1685 for Mary of Modena, queen of England, Scotland and Ireland. It was used by future queens consort until the end of the 18th century. Originally set with hired diamonds, the crown is set with crystals for display in the Jewel House at the Tower of London .

The crown is composed of a gold frame, set with rock crystals (quartzes) in closed silver collets, and with cultured pearls, and fitted with a purple velvet cap with an ermine band.

The rock crystals in this crown replace the diamonds which were hired for the 1685 coronation and subsequent ceremonies. This crown was the first consort's crown to be made after the Restoration of the monarchy in 1660 and was supplied in 1685 as a State crown, together with a Coronation crown.
Mary of Modena lived from 5 October 1658 to 7 May 1718. Also known as Queen Mary of England, Scotland and Ireland she became the second wife and Queen Consort of James VII/II and was the mother of James Francis Edward Stuart, the "Old Pretender".
