Nov 22, 2021 · Retired U.S. Navy SEAL Morgan Luttrell, the twin brother of fellow Navy SEAL Marcus Luttrell, is running for a U.S. congressional seat in the Houston, Texas area. Luttrell launched his campaign in June for Texas’ eighth congressional district. The district covers parts of Conroe and Livingston and the western edge of Houston.

Born and raised in Texas, Luttrell and his twin brother, Morgan, attended Sam Houston State University. They began training for the SEALs at age 14 with former United States Army soldier, Billy Shelton, who lived nearby. As kids they loved to hunt and fish and wrestle alligators!
