Novalis is a charming Floribunda selected by Kordes in 2010 and included in the Fairy Tale Roses range due to both its colour and abundance of flowers. The blooms are large, double, cupped, 10 c in diameter and filled with 50-60 slightly scented, lavender-blue petals.
‘Novalis' has large, double flowers in clusters with a unique colour: soft lavender purple, darker in the centre and lighter on the edge. The flowers have a pleasant, soft scent. The colour forms a nice contrast with the slightly glossy leaves.
The flowers of the Rosa ‘Novalis’ are big and are mildly fragrant. They are lavender pink coloured. The Rosa ‘Novalis’ does not produce rose hips and blooms from summer to autumn. This is a strong rose that even performs well in part shade and has good disease and black spot resistance.
