   • Purple's mattress wasn't some transformative experience that makes every night feel magical and cures all of your body's aches and pains. It makes it easier to sleep, which is much appreciated. But not so much easier that it justifies the $1K price, and not in some magical way that you couldn't get from a cheaper memory foam mattress.

   • I have had my Purple hybrid premier 4” for just over 2.5 years now. I love it! Every single night when I lay down on my bed I think to myself “Ahhh…now this is comfort”. The mattress has become noticeably softer over the years. It’s not uncomfortably soft, nor does it have any sag.

   Should I spend $1K on Purple's mattress?

   • Personally, the $1K I spent on the mattress could have been used a lot more responsibly, and I could have been just as satisfied with a $300-$400 memory foam mattress. Purple's mattress wasn't some transformative experience that makes every night feel magical and cures all of your body's aches and pains.

   Is a purple bed a good buy?

   • Our bed has a 25 year full replacement warranty, the gel is fully enclosed and protected, and the memory foam adds to the comfort. SO, IMO, Yes, Purple is a good purchase, but an Intellibed makes much more financial sense.
