The play debuted on Broadway in 1961 and ran 188 performances. Robert Redford played Mike, the role that would go to Rod Taylor in the film version.
Of course Rod Taylor is charming, as is Cliff Robertson, and young Jane Fonda is easy on the eyes. I guess it was considered risque for the time. Tame by today's standards, but still entertaining.
