Over the Years - Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce. By Kaitlyn McConnell. The Ozarks has greatly changed since the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce's inception 100 years ago. Here are just a few historical highlights and chamber initiatives that helped shape, and bring growth, to Springfield.
Annual Events & Awards. The Chamber offers a variety of signature events for members to network and stay connected. At many of these events, we offer award programs designed to recognize members for their outstanding achievements.
The Chamber’s economic development team provides businesses and community leaders with the research and data they need to make informed decisions through annual industry and economic forecasting events, demographic publications, and online resources.
About the CVB. About Us. Nice to Meet You. The Springfield Convention & Visitors Bureau was formed in 1979 as the hospitality arm of the Chamber of Commerce. The Bureau was incorporated independently as a not-for-profit corporation under the laws of the State of Missouri in 1989.
The chamber's mission is to support and promote the economic health of the Springfield area. Business assistance, referrals, networking and marketing opportunities are available.
