Among the most anticipated horror movies to debut this Halloween season is The Exorcist: Believer, a direct sequel to the original 1973 film and the first movie in a rebooted Exorcist trilogy. IGN's The Exorcist: Believer review called the franchise's first film in 18 years "a serviceable horror movie on its own merits, but a disappointing revival for a cornerstone of horror cinema."

If you're hoping to watch the latest film from the Exorcist franchise at home, you can currently stream the film on Peacock. You can stream it directly through the Peacock app or via streaming add-ons from various other services. Here are all of the places you can watch the film online:

    •Peacock - Subscription

    •Amazon Prime Video - Rent for $5.99

    •Apple TV - Rent for $5.99

The Exorcist: Believer is the sixth film in the 40-year-old film franchise. It serves as a direct sequel to the first Exorcist (1973). Here's the official synopsis from Universal:

Since the death of his pregnant wife in a Haitian earthquake 12 years ago, Victor Fielding has raised their daughter, Angela on his own. But when Angela and her friend Katherine disappear in the woods, only to return three days later with no memory of what happened to them, it unleashes a chain of events that will force Victor to confront the nadir of evil and, in his terror and desperation, seek out the only person alive who has witnessed anything like it before: Chris MacNeil.
