Troy and Hitchcock spot an American convoy far behind enemy lines. The Rat Patrol approach the convoy, but are surprised to see everyone pointing guns at them. It was not a Nazi ambush, however. A businessman, Ned Cunningham (Steve Franken), wanted a meeting with Troy and Moffitt.
As a terrible sandstorm approaches, Mr. Cunningham invites Troy and Moffitt to his mansion for dinner and a drink. The Rat Patrol have been making Cunningham poorer without making themselves richer. Cunningham wants to rectify that situation: he wants to make Troy and Moffitt wealthy men, while he also makes money. It would be mutually beneficial. Troy of course won't have that. Moffitt says they should consider it.
Mr. Cunningham lives with a woman, Fay Morgan (Fay Spain), who seems to spend her time drinking. She also seems to despise Cunningham, but is too dependent on him to leave him.
There's a shootout, Cunningham dies, and now Fay is apparently free to live her life.
