"Working the Engels" is all about family and working together, literally. After the death of the father, the Engel family must come together and deal with his massive amount of debt by running his storefront law firm. All family members become co-workers with one minor difference: Daughter Jenna is the only one qualified to practice law. Joining Jenna at the law firm is her mother, widow Ceil, pill-popping sister, Sandy, and bad-boy brother, Jimmy.
