In 1916 a New Jersey lifeguard (Colin Egglesfield) calls for the closure of town beaches when a killer shark dines on unsuspecting swimmers.
On 12 July, Cap apparently "captures" the shark. Alex goes into a hotel and consults with Dr. Nicholes, who confirms that Alex is looking for a juvenile great white shark , although he considers the possibility of a bull shark since it swam upriver.
Brief Synopsis. Adaptation of Richard Fernicola's book about shark attacks on the New Jersey Shore in 1916. Five swimmers were attacked -- four fatally -- in a short period of time, in a small geographic area. Locals went on a shark hunt and hooked a Great White. When it was gutted, human remains were found inside.
