In August 2013, it was reported that Akarsh Khurana would be making his directorial debut with a dramedy written by Bejoy Nambiar, the story of which revolved around three characters on a road trip. Principal photography of the film started from 31 August 2017. The film was shot in The Lawrence School, Lovedale near Ooty and Kochi.
