Sep 6, 2020 · I ran the game, enabled MotherVR in options. Exited, started SteamVR. pop tells me that it will now play in both Desktop and VR HMD. I press OK and the game attempts to load. Then it closes and sends me back to my SteamVR Home. I can't get it to work.
Apr 17, 2022 · The game does not want to launch in VR when using the MotherVR 0.8.1 version. I tried the unchecked settings, -steamvr launch, desktop shortcut, older version of mothervr but without any success. I am using Windows 11 and it seems like others are having this issue too.
May 9, 2018 · Hi, I absolutely love Alien Isolation and am dying to replay in VR but am having problems getting it to work on my new Rift - I hop you can help. 1. Game is installed in steam. 2. Mother DLL is copied over. 3. I can see AI in the Oculus Library on my Rift. 4. Steam VR is installed.

Dec 8, 2021 · Hey guys, The game launches fine without the Mother VR Mod installed, but as soon as i have the Mother VR .dll file copied into the game folder, the game will not launch when I press Play in Steam. I've tried downloading 3 different versions of the mod and none of them work for me.
Mar 3, 2021 · vr works brilliantly on this game. i used mother vr mod. Easy to sertup, just drop a single file in game folder, then select vr mode in game settings.
Jul 7, 2023 · The one piece that seems to be missing from Alien: Isolation VR’s control scheme is the ability to use a control input to lean. You can try to physically lean, and while that works to see around a corner without being spotted it does compound the issue of getting your view separated from your body.
