Okta is a single sign on software that allows users to access all of Aurora University's services from one convenient dashboard. Upon logging in, users are greeted with a home page displaying all of their assigned apps.

In a browser, go to aurorauniversity.okta.com; Type in your Aurora University username and password then click Sign In. Open the Google Authenticator app on your phone. Enter the 6-digit code displayed in the app then click Verify.
The okta browser plugin is used to pass on your credentials to the various services we use at AU. Becuase of this, we advise users to install it on their machines. Both Firefox and Chrome support it well and it is for this reason we suggest users to install one of these browsers.
How to Log on to Okta as an Applicant or Student STEP 1: After you have applied to Aurora University, you will receive an email similar to the one below at your personal address on file. STEP 2: Use the login credentials included in the email to log into your account at aurorauniversity.okta.com.
You can now enroll yourself in Okta Multi-Factor Authentication to add an extra layer of security to your Okta account. This will send a push notification to your smartphone that must be confirmed in order to sign in.
