The Power of Love is an American silent drama film and the first 3D feature film worldwide. [1] The premiere was on September 27, 1922, at the Ambassador Hotel Theater in Los Angeles. [2] The 3D version of the film is presumed lost. [3] The film was later shown in 2D as Forbidden Lover.
Barbara Bedford (born Violet May Rose; July 19, 1903 – October 25, 1981) was an American actress who appeared in dozens of silent movies. Her career declined after the introduction of sound, but she continued to appear in small roles until 1945.
