On Mondays, members are allowed one additional free guest, even if there are no guest passes on their membership, i.e. a Family Membership. The train is open Memorial Day through Labor Day, and on Monday during this season all members and guests receive one free train ride while it’s running.

Blank Park Zoo is a 49-acre zoological park on the south side of Des Moines, Iowa, United States, near historic Fort Des Moines. The zoo is a member of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA), and is the only accredited zoo in Iowa.
