Captain Nice is an American comedy TV series that ran from 9 January 1967 to 28 August 1967, Monday nights at 8:30 pm EST on NBC, opposite ABC's The Rat Patrol and CBS's The Lucy Show. The show was an unsuccessful attempt to cash in on the 1966 smash hit ABC TV version of Batman.
Captain Nice: Created by Buck Henry. With William Daniels, Alice Ghostley, Ann Prentiss, Liam Dunn. Carter Nash discovered a liquid that could turn him into Captain Nice, a very shy superhero dominated by his mother.

Season 1. Season 1 of Captain Nice premiered on January 9, 1967. Carter Nash was a chemist in a police department who discovered a liquid which could turn him into Captain Nice, an odd sort of superhero: very shy and dominated by his mother.
Captain Nice. 1 9 6 7 (USA) 15 x 30 minute episodes. A sci-fi sitcom from NBC showing the exploits of the titular superhero. A shy, mild-mannered (aren’t they always?) police chemist, called Carter Nash (William Daniels), concocted a liquid power source (which he called “Super Juice”) which changed him into our dashing hero.
