May 4, 2023 · The Colburn Music Academy was designed specifically to guide pre-college students toward the skill level necessary to succeed at the conservatory level after high school. Our students come from Los Angeles and around the world, as do our esteemed instructors. Enrollment is limited and highly competitive. All applicants are required to audition.
The Colburn Conservatory of Music has one goal: to prepare you for a career as a professional musician. Our undergraduate and graduate degrees, as well as two specialized certificate programs, are designed to address the needs and goals of pre-professional musicians like you, at all stages of development.
The Colburn School is a private performing arts school in Los Angeles with a focus on music and dance. It consists of four divisions: the Conservatory of Music, Music Academy, Community School of Performing Arts and the Trudl Zipper Dance Institute.
