   What is complete unknown about?

   • Complete Unknown is about Rachel Wiesz's "Alice", the choices she makes and how those choices ripple out and affect those that happen into her life..or lives. Unlike some other reviewers I very much enjoyed the film with an emphasis on Rachel Wiesz. She's been my favorite actress for as long as I can remember and this film just reminds me why.

   • Complete Unknown offers a bit of difference to a late summer scene, not a beach film nor a blockbuster. The film (directed by Joshua Marston, creator of the heart-wrenching Maria Full of Grace) is distastefully quirky and takes itself far too seriously, but it's fun to watch because liars are fascinating.

   • It's interesting to me that Complete Unknown has a dismal overall IMDb rating of 6.7. However, if you look at the demographics, males gave it a 6.5, while females gave it a 7.3. Because, as is typical for IMDb, the number of male votes is three or four times the number of female votes, the male vote prevails.
