Camping in the Lower Moro, Upper Moro, and Deer Canyon Campsites. This is not beach camping. All Crystal Cove Primitive tent sites are accessible only by foot, and require at least a 3 mile hike inland from the parking lot.
Visitors will be able to reserve campsites and lodging six months in advance from the current date. Bookings may extend from the arrival date to the desired departure date – based on availability and the park’s maximum stay rules.

Crystal Cove State Park offers two types of camping: Primitive camping and coastal bluff top camping. There is no sandy beach camping available in the park. For the primitive sites, after checking in at the Moro Canyon kiosk, campers must hike inland approximately three miles, mostly uphill.
Moro Campground in Crystal Cove State Park is located on a hillside overlooking the ocean, about a 10-minute walk from the beach. The state park is spread along 3.2 miles of coast between Laguna Beach and Newport Beach.
