Deputy Droopy is a 1955 Droopy short directed by Tex Avery and Michael Lah.
Droopy is put in charge of guarding the safe in the sheriff's office and told to alert him by making any noise if any outlaws show up. Two outlaws, Slick Wolf and Butch, show up to steal the gold, trying to be as quiet as possible, but Droopy keeps tricking them into making noise through various ways of pain and humiliation, forcing them to run outside the office or use various methods to prevent being heard, despite having gotten bound and gagged by them.
1.First, the robbers accidentally step on nails, and run outside to scream in pain.
2.After binding and gagging Droopy, they attempt to crack the safe. Butch accidentally Slick in the posterior with his screwdriver, forcing Slick to go outside to scream in pain. Upon returning, he drags Butch outside to scream "CUT IT OUUUUUT!" After they return, Butch drags Slick outside and screams "OKAY!", before being slapped by Slick.
3.Droopy somehow got his arms free from the rope, but he kept himself bound and gagged as he dealt with the outlaws by himself. To start, he heated up their screwdriver with a blowtorch, making it too hot to pick up and forcing both robbers to take turns running outside to scream in pain after touching it.
4.Eventually, Butch lays in a rocking chair. Droopy places the sheriff's cat's tail under one of the chair's rockers. Slick grabs the cat just after he wakes up from having his tail crushed by the rocker, and takes him outside to scream in pain, but the cat bites his hand and he screams instead.
5.Butch sits on another chair, but Droopy places a lobster under him. Slick returns in time to contain his companion's screams inside a bottle, then runs outside to empty it. Butch runs outside and lets out more screams, only to get slapped again.
