Emma Tate (born October 30, 1971) is a British voice actress who voiced Lofty & Sumsy (US only), Benny and Marjorie in Project: Build It. She also took over Dizzy between late 2007 to 2011 in the US dub once Maria Darling left.
Tate debuted in a 1991 episode of The Bill and from 1999, she commenced work in voice acting, mainly in children's programmes, starting with the U.S. version of Bob the Builder and also on Dream Street, voicing Half-Pint the milk float. In 2006, Emma began to voice Perfect Peter in the TV adaptation of Francesca Simon 's book Horrid Henry .

Benny (voiced by Emma Tate) is a small magenta compact track loader with a rear-end backhoe arm and an excavator arm. He helped Bob and the team get everything ready for the Bobblesberg Winter Games. He was later hired by Robert to help him out in Bobsville while the team were in Sunflower Valley, and even helped them out on a few jobs.
Emma Tate is an experienced voice artist, with many animation credits, including the BAFTA-winning Numberblocks, Horrid Henry, Bob the Builder, Shaun the Sheep Movie, and The Jungle Book.
