Dec 3, 2013 · Ronny (played by Sam Heughan) is an obsessed man – his wife Isabella vanished in a multi-storey car park, and he spends his days searching for her. The film places us a year after the event, and Ronny has taken a job in the car park where she disappeared, desperately searching for any clue he can find.
I really enjoyed Emulsion. The film is edited wonderfully so that the plot gradually develops keeping the audience guessing about the circumstances of Isabella's disappearance and Ronny's frame of mind. There are a couple scenes which play out of sequence or are repeated as an extended scene which add to the richness of the story telling.
