Finch College was an undergraduate women's college in Manhattan, New York City. The Finch School opened as a private secondary school for girls in 1900 and became a liberal arts college in 1952. It closed in 1976.
Numerous scholarships are offered to all women fitting the criteria: - Female students enrolled in the second year of community college in New York, New Jersey, or Connecticut. - Age 22 and older. - Transferring to any accredited four-year college in the United States.
History of Finch College. Jessica Garretson earned her B.A. as one of the seven women in Barnard College's first graduating class in 1893.
About us. The Finch College Alumni Association Foundation Trust was organized in 1993 with the aim of reviving the spirit of the College among its widely separated graduates, teachers and friends; to rekindle old friendships where precious contacts were lost; and to discover the joy of new friendships across the generations of the Finch community.
