The park is owned and operated by Westchester County and shares the island with a privately operated but county-owned entertainment facility, the Glen Island Harbour Club (formerly the Glen Island Casino).

Glen Island is a beautiful place to relax and have a picnic. The park has playgrounds, volleyball nets, a small beach, and plenty of open space.
March 30, 2021 – One year after New Rochelle became the epicenter of the COVID-19 pandemic in the United States, and Glen Island Park was turned into a drive-thru testing site by New York State, the park has been reopened to Westchester County residents.

Also open holidays, Monday, May 27 and Wednesday, June 19. Summer Season Open daily: Monday, July 1 until and including Sunday, Sept 1.

Drive over the 1920s drawbridge and you'll enter the park, which has picnic areas (both reservable and open to the public), boat ramp, playgrounds, walkways and access to a beach that overlooks the Long Island Sound.

Home to a catering hall and restaurant, cannons, sculptures, boat launching, and castles, the islands offer a scenic historical parks experience.
This park is amazing and features water views in all directions. We came here for a picnic and were not disappointed as it's a great place for a birthday or an event. There are grills and picnic tables and accessible bathrooms. They also have several playground areas and a beautiful walking path.
