When you purchased or transferred a domain, you paid for one year of registration based on your domain ending, like .com or .org. You'll be charged a fee to renew your domain registration each year unless you cancel.
Your registration fee included the following for eligible domain names:
WHOIS privacy protection
Domain and subdomain forwarding
Email forwarding
Google name servers with 10 million Domain Name System (DNS) resolutions per year
Your initial purchase entitles you to one year of registration that can be renewed yearly. You can also buy multiple years of registration at the current price.

Aside from regularly priced domains, there are 3 other types:
Domains offered by the registry for a premium price. Usually, when you transfer, renew, restore, or add more years of registration to a domain, you're charged the initial premium price.
Domains offered for resale by owners for an aftermarket price. After you purchased the domain, you can add multiple years of registration and renew at the regular price of the domain
Domains offered that are both for resale by owners at an aftermarket price, and transferred, renewed and restored annually through the registry for a premium price.
The price you pay in Google Domains may be higher if you sign up for certain additional services, such as web hosting or Google Workspace integration. Each partner has their own list of plans and pricing.
